2\. dig→ detailed intelligence report more advance.

Step1: Who is officially managing the target? I need headquarters contact.

`dig NS chaicode.com`

James found out- Names of headquarters servers controlling the domain

Step2: Check if codename/alias (CNAME record)

Is www.chaicode.com is nick name or real name.

Quick check-

`nslookup -type=CNAME www.chaicode.com`

What James got to know:

1. If cname exists→ this is alias pointing to real target.
    
2. If cname does not exists→ name is direct target
    

With this information James got clarity that name is not fake.

Step3: Check exact location (A record IPV4)

`dig A www.chaicode.com`

Above command gave James exact enemy location. Real IP address found.

Step4: Check modern gps (AAAA Record-IPV6)

`nslookup -type=AAAA www.chaicode.com`

James found:

1. If present→ new IPv6 coordinates.
    
2. If absent→ IPv4 is sufficient.
    

Step5: Where secret messages go (MX Record) i

`dig MX www.chaicode.com`

James get to know below:  
1\. Mail servers and priority  
2\. Only for emails and not for website access.

Step6: Verification of secret code (TXT Record)

`nslookup -type=TXT chaicode.com`

James got below:

1. Ownership proof
    
2. Ensure the base is real and not a trap.
